Fall Cutie

Hi, I'm here today to share a scrapbook layout with you. Moxxie's gorgeous new collection, Autumn Glory, was perfect for this page. My great-nephew, Milo, is dressed up as a gnome and sitting in a pile of leaves. He loved posing for the camera!

I used the Fanciful Flowers paper for the base of my layout. I think the cluster of flowers in the corner is so beautiful! I also love the distressed look to the background of this paper. Next, I cut banner pieces from the Season's Beauty paper, using the front and back of the paper. I added the word "Cutie" with the new White Alpha stickers and stapled the pennants to a piece of brown ribbon. I matted my photo onto a piece of gold cardstock.

Then I began die cutting. I cut leaves from Foliage in Flight, Season's Beauty and Bountiful Bouquet papers, inked the edges and folded them a little bit to add texture. I also cut a doily from the Bountiful Bouquet paper. I added the "Season of Change" and "fall frolic" stickers from the cardstock sticker sheet. Lastly, I fussy cut a flower from one of the stickers. I put the sticker on paper first to make cutting easier. The photo below shows how I clustered the items together.

I really love this new Moxxie line of papers and stickers! Autumn Glory is the perfect collection to use for fall photos!

Other supplies used: tiny attacher (Tim Holtz), doily (Sizzix), leaves (Spellbinders)

Moxxie New Lines Blog Hop

Welcome to the Moxxie Blog Hop featuring the newest paper collections! On my blog I get to show you the awesome "Happy Pawlidays" line.

I love this collection and used it to make a scrapbook layout to share with you today. When I saw the paper with the hanging dog bones, I knew right away what photo I wanted to use. This is my chihuahua, Chiquita, dressed in her Santa outfit. I used a lot of the patterned papers, the cardstock "Bark the Herald Angels Sing" sticker and the new red alpha stickers.

The Christmas sides of these papers and the cardstock stickers are fantastic for cat and dog holiday layouts. However, the B sides of the papers can be used for all types of pages - I love the soft blue paper, the bright green, the striped, the polka dotted - the papers are great!

Send in the Clowns!!

Hi, it's Circus time at Make My Monday! I picked the theme and would love for you to join us - just link up a card, tag or circus themed project.

My card features a clown image and papers from Gecko Galz. I made my card with the following:

Gecko products used are: Lemon & Honey paper (from Lemonade papers) for the doily die cut, Peanuts & Popcorn and Spotlight for background papers & Trapeze for the banner (all 3 papers from Life is a Circus). The clown was fussy cut from Crazy Clowns ephemera.

Supplies from my stash are: blue gems, pop dots, banner punch, doily cutting die (Sizzix), hello flag (Jillibean Soup) and a 5x7 Kraft card.

Grab some peanuts and cotton candy and join us for some circus fun!

Make My Monday - Birds

The theme at MMM this week is birds. My, the weeks certainly fly by, don't they? (Pun intended!)

I made my card by layering a square of Basic Grey paper (Lemonade) onto a black card base. Then I added a small white doily, rub-on sentiment, blue doily from Jillibean Soup and a K&Co bird die cut. Quick and easy!

Hope your week is wonderful!
